Sustainable Community Development Seminar Focus: Environmental Management and Protection.

The Department of Saemaul Studies organized another Sustainable Community Development Seminar on September 13, 2014. The seminar had a special focus on the subject of environmental management and protection. There was a total of 24 attendees from the development sector who all participated and listened to a variety of presentations on environment. The speakers also facilitated discussions among the participants regarding their projects with relation to the topics presented. Following the presentations and discussions, the participants were made aware of Enderun’s new sustainable community development programs which include the Global Certificate on Saemaul Undong and International Community Development and the Bachelor of Arts in Global Economics specializing in Saemaul Undong and International Development Cooperation.

Environmental Management and Protection in Sustainable Community Development by Dr. Aileen Guzman, Professor of Environmental Science of the Ateneo De Manila University

Efforts in Environmental Management in Sustainable Development by Dr. Socrates Estuita, Director of Estuita Eco Farms
